      A: Apply online through the apply link on this page or on our site. The Terrace Finance platform will work to match you with a compatible lender/lessor and return a finance offer to you*.

      Once approved, you will know how much you have to shop with. Look for an email from our Customer Care team (info@terracefinance.com) with instructions on how take your approval to a member of the Mower Finance Dealer Network, order from a national chain through us, or use an out-of-network dealer.

      You have 30 days to shop around to different dealers and select the perfect model for you.

      When your product choice has been made, a Customer Care team member will help you fulfill your order with the merchant. When your contract with the lender/lessor is signed, your items will be released to you or ordered and scheduled for delivery or pick up (if available).

      A: Terrace Finance is the parent company of Mower Finance and provides the application portal and lender/lessor network portion of our service. Mower Finance is the equipment dealer network portion of our service. Note the “powered by Terrace Finance” under the Mower Finance logo. You are in the right place!

      A: When submitting an application, the following information will be required:

      • Personal Information (name, address, phone number, SSN, etc.)
      • Employment Information (status of employment and employer name)
      • Income
      • Additional details such as banking information, proof of income, monthly housing cost (ie rent or mortgage), may be required depending on the provider and program you are matched with.

      A: If you prefer the contract to be in the name of your busines, then you must complete the commercial application.

      If you don’t have a business, but just want commercial grade equipment, complete the consumer application. If the equipment is mostly for personal use, but you might service a few lawns occasionally to make extra cash, then complete the personal application.

      A: Our lenders/lessors offer programs that cover consumers across the credit spectrum from perfect credit to no credit. Qualifications vary by the lender/lessor but in addition to credit score, most providers take a look at payment history, debt-to-income ratio, income, and employment. We pride ourselves on providing a pathway to ownership for people with less than perfect credit, however approval and approval amount are not guaranteed.

      A: The answer is YES! But we dislike the terms “bad credit” or “challenged credit” or “subprime credit”. Can we just call it “less-than-perfect credit”? While we can’t approve everyone, it is our mission to help more people get the lawn mower they need through our hassle-free process. We’ve curated our payment solution provider network to provide options for a wide range of credits: good credit, average credit, challenged credit, as well as those with no credit history.

      A: YES! For new businesses, the decision is based on your personal credit and industry experience. Helping newbies just starting out is our specialty, so by all means, complete the commercial application. We’d like to help you build your business credit history.

      A: Short answer: maybe…Terrace Finance conducts what is called a “soft credit pull” to take a glance at your credit score and route your application to a lender that is within range. A soft credit pull does not affect your credit score.

      Once you are routed to a lender/lessor, they may need to conduct a “hard credit pull” to confirm eligibility. This is a necessary step for many lenders/lessors, especially when the requested dollar amounts are higher.

      If you are routed to a No Credit Needed provider based on our soft inquiry, then no hard credit pull will occur.

      A: There is no one rate. We work with multiple payment solution providers that service a range of credit profiles. Terms and costs vary by the provider and program you are matched with during the application process. With multiple providers available, it is not possible for us to know before you apply, which program you will be a candidate for or provide an accurate quote.

      Upon approval you will be given payment specifics and, depending on the lender/lessor, term length options which affect the payment and total cost. You are under no obligation to sign the final agreement unless the offer meets your needs.

      Commercial customers may call us to speak with a Commercial Team member about being given a free proposal before beginning the application.

      A: The most common reasons for being declined or assigned a different provider with a smaller approval amount after being approved is misstated income. Please be mindful when completing the application not overstate your income. This will be discovered in the verification process.
      Another culprit could be an invalid ID.

      A: Click the LOG IN link in the topbar at mowerfinance.com. Enter the email you used when applying. Click Forgot Password and follow the prompts to set a password. Once you are in the portal, click on Existing Applications to see the status or your offer.

      In addition, Terrace Finance sends text and email notifications from info@terracefinance.com. Most of our payment providers also send communications via email/text, so be on the lookout.

      A: It is very likely that we have a participating mower dealer near you! There are over 4000 landscape equipment dealers in the Mower Finance Dealer Network. Click on FIND DEALERS NEAR ME here and type your zip code into the search window. We can also work with your favorite dealer even if they are not listed, just give us a call at 888-509-1370 to arrange.

      We also work with Home Depot and Lowes. Just collect your product links and we will take care of the transaction for you and arrange for pick up or delivery.

      A: While we love mowers and deal in landscape equipment all day long, the best place to find information on specific makes and models is to speak to a salesperson at a dealership. Before you go, a good sales person will want to know your answers to the following in order to best help you:

      • Will the mower be for business or personal use?
      • How large is your property or how many lawns do you estimate you will mow per week?
      • What is your budget (that’s why we encourage you to apply before shopping)
      • What are the shortcomings of your current machine if you have one.
      • Are you looking to increase efficiency? Upgrading to larger deck or faster machine may be a consideration.
      • Are you open to the idea of pre-owned equipment? This can be an economical way to great mower.

      A: If you intend to shop with Home Depot or Lowes, you must apply online through any of our Mower Finance apply buttons.

      If you have a dealer in mind, and see them on our dealer map, you can apply at the store. Be sure to bring your ID, banking info (such as a statement or acct number), and possibly proof of residency such as a utility bill. Ypu may not need all that, but it saves you as trip home if it’s needed. Look for our QR code application flier at the register or tell a sales person you wish to apply with Mower Finance. They may also have their Mower Finance application link on their site or social media.

      That said, many people prefer to apply at home before they shop so they can gather any required documents easily and have privacy. Just let the store know when you arrive that you already applied and they’ll know what to do. We’re just a call away if you need any assistance: 888-509-1370.
